    I'll begin the mailbag by saying a proper adieu, or at least adieu (to you, and you, and you) for a couple of weeks. It's vacation time. If events warrant I may check in, or someone at the home office may post something. Otherwise I have been ordered, upon penalty of intense pain to my upper body, to do minimal checking of the laptop and Crack-berry.   2. Post-spring depth chart: Front seven on defense

    We now return to our regularly scheduled update on how Georgia looks after spring ball. Today's installment: The defensive line and linebacking units, which got a pretty good overhaul in the offseason, and will get more this summer. There were transfers: Alec Ogletree joined the inside linebackers, and Jarvis Jones was shifted outside, a move that the coaches said paid off well. DeAngelo Tyson was shifted from tackle to end, where he is more comfortable. There were departures: Nick Williams and Marcus Dowtin left the program, creating depth issues at inside linebacker.     On the whole, spring practice didn't move the needle much for the Georgia football team. There were no grand pronouncements about position battles, no starting controversies that were settled. But a month of workouts and drills wasn't totally uneventful. Here's one man's ranking of the most important stories in the aftermath:1.
