Blue and Gold &bull Sep 3, 2010Not winning your first start as Notre Dame's quarterback does not necessarily portend a poor career. Among those who didn't were future Heisman Trophy winner Angelo Bertelli (1942), Joe Montana (1975), Brady Quinn (2003) and Jimmy Clausen (2007). 2010 Preview - Game 12 - Wisconsin
Lake the Posts &bull Sep 2, 2010
November 27, 2010 - NU @ Wisconsin We like this series. It's always entertaining and has a slew of memories - on both sides - since 1995. We actually like the Badgers ranked as we've won 3 of the last 4 when they've been ranked (wins in 2009, 2005, 2003). Mr. Bielema prays we're not ranked as he's just 1-7 against ranked Big Ten teams. Unfortunately this is one of the major casualties of the new alignment. It will be our last meeting with Wisky until 2013 which is a shame. I wish they would've become a protected game.Wisconsin Badger… Full Story »

College Football on AOL Fanhouse &bull Sep 2, 2010
Observations and insights (but not Insight Bowls) from Wednesday's Big Ten realignment announcement/television show, a.k.a. I'm not one to toss bouquets (of roses, in this case) at conference commissioners, but you have to give credit to the Big Ten's Jim Delany. Only last December did we first learn that the Big Ten was looking to expand in 18 months. For the most part (see No. 2). It's the type of Trading Spaces-like home renovation that would have perked up an already perky Paige Davis.… Full Story »
